I have been in the design world and the landscape industry for over 40 years and I am proud to say my first Landscape Design and Construction project was completed in 1970 and is still thriving today.
Following is a list of some of my most memorable accomplishments.
Member and Officer of the Midwest Bonsai Society
I studied the Japanese Art of Bonsai with Bonsai Masters like John Naka 1914-2004 of California, Alex Alexander of Chicago and many others.
I served as program chairman with the responsibility of creating many of the designs that the Bonsai Society used to show the members minature trees.
One of the programs I designed was at the "World Flower and Garden Show" that was produced by the Chicago Botanic Garden and held at McCormick Place.
It was the last year that I did a desgin for the Midwest Bonsai Society and that show won them a Silver medal.
Nursery Manager
I worked for a large landscape company and was responsible for the production and harvesting of appx.160 acres of Ornamental Trees & Shrubs.
